Queso Blanco Dip

Thanks to one of my readers, I got a great recipe for white cheese dip... just like they serve at Mexican restaurants. I can't go to a Mexican restaurant without ordering this. I usually fill up on it before I get my main dish.
If serving at a party, I would recommend keeping this dip warm in a small crockpot since it will naturally thicken if it sits out for a while.
This dip is absolutely amazing. I used green chilies, but next time I think I'll put half green chilies and half jalapenos to give it a little more "kick."

Ingredients:
1 pound white American cheese
2 (4-ounce) cans diced green chilies, undrained (may use diced jalapenos)
1/2 - 1 cup heavy cream, depending on thickness of dip you like

Directions:
Simmer all on the stove in a saucepan until smooth

I talked to someone yesterday who said they were going to try this and that they loved your blog. Just wish I could remember who it was? Rose, maybe???? :-)
PS....Did you take the music away or is my computer just not picking it up?
