Wow!

I'm Featured On Another Blog

I've been featured on The Food Librarian's blog (well, the Tiramisu Bundt Cake was, anyway). Whoa! This has never happened before, so I'm super excited! If you click here and scroll down near the bottom, my cake is the third from the last.

You should check out The Food Librarian blog. She has endless amounts of bundt cake recipes, and I can't wait to make more of them. She actually made one cake every days for 30 days. Check out her "I Like Big Bunts" post to see all 30 recipes. I made the Pumpkin Spice Bundt with Buttermilk Icing, which came from her blog, and it was amazing. I definitely have several more of her recipes on my list-of-things-to-bake.

"Food" for thought

Being a Christian is much like cooking. There are several circumstances that we have been through (good & bad), & that's what has made us who we are. Speaking in "cooking" terms, there are several ingredients that go into the recipe (some taste good alone, and some don't). How many of us would swallow a TBSP of ground cumin? BUT when this ingredient is added with other ingredients, it makes for a perfect dish. Just like all of the ingredients come together to make the recipe good... all of our circumstances come together to make us who we are. God says that "in ALL circumstances, He works for the good for those who love Him" (Romans 8:28). I promise that the Lord is cooking up something good in our lives. His recipe isn't quite finished yet, but when it is.... it will be perfectly delightful!
